Should I invest in an Ipad 2?
I’m a 20 year old college student transferring from a community college to a University in this coming fall. I have been seriously considering purchasing an Ipad for reasons like..
buying etextbooks to save money, storing all my books on the ipad for compatibility, setting up a Wall Mount so i can read my school books while laying down when my back hurts from sitting up to read, and utilizing all the educational applications associated with apple.
I would be dropping roughly $700 on the ipod,smart cover, keyboard,and wallmount.
My gf says she will go half but i dont wanna share 
Do you think i would benefit from this purchase or should i save the $700 and stick to old school?

My roommate has an ipad, and found it to be basically useless for school. If you’re going to buy a keyboard and wallmount, you might as well just buy a $700(or less) laptop, which you can still use with ebooks, and will be much more powerful than an ipad.
