Anyone here who’s seen earlier versions of the Chinese drama Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre?
I’m watching the new one right now with Deng Chao as lead and I’ve seen the 2003 one with Alex Su as lead.
But they don’t start from the beginning of the novel.
In the novel it starts long before the Emei sect was founded and Guo Xiang went looking for Yang Guo but insteads meets Jue Yuan, Wuse Chanshi, Zhang Junbao and so on..
Is there an earlier version of this drama which shows that part?
If it starts that way it wouldn’t be too hard to find eh? Just watch the beginning of each version and see whether it starts with that part? FYI the 1994 one doesn’t start that way.
