How do you fix a Samurai Sword’s loose scabbard?
I already attempted to super glue a small piece of wood on the opening of the scabbard, but it has not work. Please help.
It seems you mean loose to mean that it slides off the sword easily and doesn’t “stick” in place. If the koiguchi (scabbard opening) has been dug out, then the solution is really a new saya (scabbard). You could also try wrapping the habaki (copper part at base of blade) with tape until you get the desired tightness. It shouldn’t slide off really easily, but it shouldn’t stay stuck either.
