i am in the process of trying to figure out what katana or sword set to buy and i was wonderin if the Bushido Musashi – Battle Ready 3pc Sword Set Full Tang Sharp from trueswords.com would be worth me buying for my first katana set

If you plan on going to buy a set for display purposes and to do some work on yard with then go for it. If you plan on cutting stuff quite often and playing around, trying swinging at full speed with full power a 3lb Wooden Sword 28inch/10inch for an hour. If you cant control the wooden sword, then go take some lessons otherwise your liable to cut yourself or bystanders. oh and by the way words like battle ready and full tang and sharp are words used to sell Martial Arts gear by slimy salesman or people that have only respect for the sale and not the safety of the customer. If you truly want a good sword for 200 to 300 dollars go with cheness or Paul Chen of hanwei and sign yourself up at some dojo. as a reminder if you are spending less than 300 dollars for a sword, dont swing it around. Chances are it will be poorly constructed and the integrity between the handle and tail end of the metal blade will likely shatter causing all sorts of nasty accidents. I did the same with my first set of swords. I was lucky no one was hurt.
