In the Martial Arts section who are the top 5 people you would want to train with?
For me it is
1. Katana 172. because I am interested in Isshin Ryu
2. Jamesf24 because we have similar back grounds and it would be very beneficial to me to help me understand TKD better and I would like to test my mma skills against some one with a back ground so similar.
3. Cnote because the guy could kick my butt standing so I think I would have a lot to learn from him and I might be able to help him with his ground game.
4. Mushin because I love swords and would like to learn how to use them properly
5. Judomofo because he is the person who has already helped me and he is the person I think could help me the most on the path I am currently taking.
disclaimer: this is not a question to call some one out and say that you could teach them what martial arts a really about. People you think you could learn from and help out as well.

These are in no particular order
1) Sensei Scandal/Pugpaws2- Each has a vast knowledge of Okinawan karate and could definetly further my training along. My instructor is awesome and is considered one of the best in our union, but I would love to expand on his knowledge base, and get some different perspectives.
2) Judomofo- While Okinawan karate contains many locks, throws, etc. it would be really beneficial to me to get more in depth into this part of karate, and Judo’s background would definetly be an asset there. He also has a good base in ground fighting which I feel would benefit me.
3) You- Somply for the fact I would love to share more of Isshin-Ryu with you, but also show you some stuff in the forms that you already know, and show you that there is a lot of meaning behind your form.
4) Ty M or Gannoway- I would love to train with them simply to show them that while yes BJJ(Ty M) is an excellent style, it is no better or worse then any other, and gannoway to try and show him that just because a person is older doesn’t mean they can’t hang with younger guys, and also to show him that the longer you train a style, the more it becomes a part of you, and that you will never stop learning from it.
5) James 24f- Simply for the fact that I like his attitude and feel that we could feed off of each other.
So sue me
6) Tao j- would love to work against somebody that trains muay thai just for the simple fact it is ver similiar to Okinawan karate, yet different enough to make it interesting.
7) Sifu frank- Seems very spiritual and I would just like to get to know him.
Mushin- Definetly would like to know more about the katana.
9) Shihan J- Chance to study more of the Japanese style of karate
Again these are in no particular order.
Edit- I guess all the people saying UFC stars didn’t bother to read the question lol.
Edit- James 24f- I would not consider myself right wing, I am actually ver middle of the road, unless you count my view on firearms ownership.:-) Oh and Shihan, hope the aligator is hungry.
Edit for gannoway- If I were going to claim something that wasn’t true, I would make claims like retroac lol. As for kicking your ass, that would be totally up to you and your attitude if we were to train together. As for young vs old you still seem to be under the impreswsion that I am talking about in a ring with rules, which is not what I train for. Yes fighting in a ring is definetly a young mans game, however I am talking about being attacked on the street. The fact of the matter is if you were too attack me on the street, and it went more then 10 seconds, then I did something wrong. I train to stop an attack “now” and out the person out as quickly as possible. No pitty pat in self defense. What you need to realize is that you are talking about something entirely different then me.
