Why do most Americans over rate the Samurai?
Americans keep saying the
1)Samurais are the best warriors ever.The Samurais rarely fought people outside of Japan!Besides,they never fought the best religious fanatical warriors such as the MAMELUKES,THE CONQUISTADORS,The Turkish Gazis,and the Teutonic Knights!
2)They had swords so sharp that it could cut through European armor easily.No sword Can Cut THROUGH European armor easily.The Samurais never had EXPERIENCE fighting against the agile and fast European knight in plate armor!Besideds,Spain made the strongest swords!
3)Samurais were the most fearless warriors and that Samurais fought fiercer than any other warriors in History!Well,from my studies,the fearlessness and fierceness religious fanatical warriors such as the Mamelukes make the samurais seem like childdren!
Why do most Americans overrate the samurais?
Most Americans do not overrate the samurai. Some do — principally ones who play lots of combat video games or watch lots of Old Japanese films. You cannot stop people from romanticizing historical figures any more than you can stop people from romanticizing Elvis Presley.
