Those swords are made by Chiness, which have good reputations as far as their steel. When they first stated there were some complaints about the fittings, but they improved that. They are known for making durable blades and you cant find better for cheaper.

I would dull the tip as well if you want to use it for practice against an opponent. Maybe also pick up a sharpened cutter. The mono-steel swords are perfect for learning, but they dull fast. If you want a sharper edge and have proper cutting technique, go with the differentially hardened.
