I´ve just left college, and decided what I want to do. I want to be a pirate! What is the best way to…?
get into this line of work. Do any firms offer swordfighting apprentaces, or how to use a cutlass.
I want to learn how to set up a plank (in case we need anyone to walk it) and how to mount a boarding party on merchant ships.
How do I learn to haggle over the sale of plundered treasures, and how do I learn to wear an eyepatch and hook correctly?
I am fully qualified as a Pirate and did my training at ‘Davy Jones’s Locker’ in Barmouth.
Learning the language was the hardest..you have to get the ‘Aharrrr me hearties’ JUST right or they will fail you.
And I can still remember every word of our class chant…’Sixteen Men On A Dead Mans’ Chest…Yo Ho Ho And A Bottle Of Rum’.
Those were the days…and I still have me parrot (true!)
