Oda Nobunaga
Oda Nobunaga

Nobunaga Oda or Julius Casaer?
In a battle of military strategists, who would win and why. Both met tragic endings. I just want to see some opinions.
Lets say they were both from the same time period and had an equal number of troops on each side. Basically, a completely fair and equal match.
If you put them both in the same era, same technology, same # of men I would believe Caesar would win. I say this because in nearly every battle he fought and won, he was consistently out numbered and was a proven master of technology and strategy. Not that Oda was not, but I doubt he pulls out a win at the Battle of Alesia like Caesar did, in fact, I doubt any other commander could. In enemy territory, out numbered 2 to 1 easy if not more, surrounded on all side while laying siege to a city, yet still winning? Tough order, but he pulled it out.
