Mongol Movie Sword
Mongol Movie Sword

In the Movie Mongol When they Fight Jamuka Then When the Mongols sent the people first with the double swords?
The people on the horses, with double swords what are they called? and when they were retreating why did They get killed by their own men with arrows.
I don’t remember the swords you mean in the movie, do you mean swords with two blades, because if that’s the case I think the film makers took liberties there and just put them in for looks, because I don’t think the Mongols really use that (Shaolin monks do use one called Cern Dao).
If you mean a pair of swords then it may have been the Chinese Hudie Shuang Dao (The butterfly sword).
As to why they shot there own guy’s, it was because the were expendable and the advantage they gained in shooting the enemy soldiers while they advanced was vital, so the deaths of a few of there own men was worth it.
I bet the guy’s that got arrowed up though diffrent mind you.
Oh I just read that again, did you actually mean the name of the men, they were skirmishers. Khara’ul in Mongolian.
