what is better a machine made katana or a Hand Made katana sword?
i hear a lot of people saying that machine made katanas are just as better as a Handmade Katana
To be fair, one needs to know what the purpose of the blade is. If it’s just to look cool and hang on the wall, maybe show your friends… then buy something machine made and cool looking. If you are a serious sword art student, then there is no contest… hand made are simply that much better.

And yes, the difference IS that drastic
But a word of warning here… there are some amazingly nice machine assisted blades out there. They are expensive, and worth every penny. But in any case, unless you are well trained in the sword arts and have a good deal of skill… you belong nowhere near a truely Sharp Blade. These things are dangerous people, they exist with one purpose… to kill humans!!!
I can point you to some good sites should you wish to see what nice blades are available, but expect to pay between $1000 just to start. I have seen swords over $250,000 in Japan, and they keep going up…
