Is it bad to slice bottles of water with my sword?
I have a Japanese Sword and it has a high Carbon Steel blade. Can I slice bottles full of water with my sword with out damaging it. This is my sword http://www.trueswords.com/bushido-musashi-dragon-fury-battle-ready-katana-p-3273.html
That is cheap sword so cut whatever you want with it. I learned to cut both bottles full of water as well as straw mats but I do not use a cheap sword. Just make sure you clean it and oil it after each use or it will rust and eventually weaken the blade.
