Is this a good katana?
I have been looking for a katana and i found many i really like. the only problem is that they are all over a thousand dollarrs and right now thats out of my range. I was wondering if the “Fully Hand Forged Clay Tempered Practical Crane Katana Sword #227″ from Handmade Swords was a good katana. I wont except anything that is not truly hand forged or not a quality katana. Since obviously i don’t know much on the topic im asking those who do.

You cannot judge a Sword From a picture on a website. It is unlikely that the sword is very good at that price. I recommend that you save your money until you can afford a sword from a reputable manufacturer such as bugei.
Furthermore, you probably should not purchase a sword until your instructor recommends that you are ready for such a move.
If you don’t have an instructor then – really you don’t need a sword.
