Samurai Swords at good price?
i collect swords and train with them but only the dull ones any way my dad has a Katana Sword with a jade handle he said they were forged in asia and shipped to europe and so i want one with a jade handle but i can’t find any do you know of any places where i can find one in north america
actually it was not a fighting katana it was a ceremonial katana
ceremonial=nice stuff
Fighting=just plain
my dad got his blade about 30 years ago
Which type a solid cheap knock off piece that can’t be disassembled? or one that you can disassembled and cared for with a Cleaning Kit?
The prices vary greatly, so google search “Hand Made Katana” and you should be able to shop around. Make sure you type in “Hand made Katana” though. You should be able to pick up a decent hand made Katana that can be disassemled for around $80 – $150 bucks. Masahiro Katanas aren’t too bad, but you’re risking getting a crappy one since 1 out of every 2 ends up being a piece of crap. Paul Chen Katanas are pretty decent, but they run a little higher maybe more like $150 to $300 price range.
If you’re looking for an actual Japanese swordsmith’s hand made swords though you’re like at about $7,000 bucks starting off at the least.
