katana wakazashi wich goes on top?
ok the daisho is the traditional wakazashi katana combo the samurai would wear. but witch one was on top of the other. i know they were crossed on the hip but witch hilt was on top.

I would say from the style i practice that its the katana. This would certainly be the norm for most as its the primary weapon. But there may be some styles that beg to differ. Also its the practitioners preference too. There is a form of grappling using the two swords called daisho sabaki. But whether the katana was on top or not wouldn’t really make any difference regarding these techniques.
The style, preference and the actual kata probably have more to do with this than anything else. The kata have a great influence on how a sword is worn, drawn and put away.
