Does this job sound legit?
Well it is for a company named vector and it is a sales firm for cutco cutlery.

Basically it’s a sales job where you attempt to sale the product to potential buyers face to face with pre-set appointments.
So over the interview proccess they informed me that i can either get paid for the commission or the base pay which is $16.00 per appointment.
(each appointment is about 45 Min’s to an hour)
does this sound legit?
am i guaranteed to make sales you think?
because in order for it to be a full time job i wuold need about 35-40 appoinments a week.
is that possible?
please help me out i would greatly appreciate it.
i just had a newborn daughter and can’t afford to waste time if this position can’t provide me with the income i need.

You did notice that you have to find your own customers to make appointments with, didn’t you? How many people do you know who might be interested? And you aren’t “guaranteed” to make sales.
And I wouldn’t spend that $16 per appointment before I got it.
You aren’t an employee, so you’ll be paying a higher tax on any income you DO get.
Since you’d have to be out of your home anyway for these appointments, you might be better off looking for a regular job.
