How do you say opening and closing times in Chinese?
I’m doing a business card for Chinese class, and I can’t figure out how to say what hours my store is open. Our teacher suggested using “ying ye shijian” (I do have the characters too), but I’m not sure what she meant. I know there’s also a more casual form using “kai dao” (I also have these characters) but I don’t really understand that either. If you can describe the characters I’d use that would be helpful to. Thanks!
营业时间 (yíng yè shí jiān) is literally business time, basically “business hours.”
So you could have something like -
Business Hours: Everyday from 10AM – 11PM
which would be:
营业时间: 每日上午十点钟 – 晚上十一点钟
每日 = everyday
上午 = morning (in this context it indicates AM)
十点钟 = 10:00
晚上 = night
十一点钟 = 11:00 (in this context it indicates PM)
