Collecting fantasy swords is a great hobby. Swords make amazing display items, as well as being fun to play with. There are so many different kinds of swords that you can collect, you are sure to be able to create a beautiful and varied collection.

There are many swords based off from movies, anime, and video games, which are very popular with fans. You can also collect replica Medieval Swords, which are great for showing off at renaissance fairs. There are also display swords that are not a replica, but straight out of the creator’s imagination. In my opinion, these are some of the most interesting swords.

Besides swords, you can also collect fantasy daggers, which is how I started out my collection. They are generally less expensive than swords, and can easily be displayed on shelves or the wall. Shields, armor, and helmets are great for rounding out a collection.

When choosing your fantasy swords, you want to keep in mind your planned use before purchasing. If you are planning on using Your Sword to fight or play with, then you may want to consider a battle ready sword. These are generally made of high Carbon Steel and are much more durable. However they also require more maintenance to keep the blades from rusting. Display swords are generally made of Stainless Steel and require little maintenance, but are not as durable.

Whatever your reason for wanting to collect fantasy swords, they are truly a good investment. I enjoy my collection a great deal.
